Q: How does KRD support your career goals?
A: KRD supports my interests outside of being a senior auditor. I enjoy working with my colleagues on implementing new standards and mentoring the interns.
Q: Share a story about the difference you make at KRD.
A: Shortly after starting at KRD, I joined the lease implementation team. I had the opportunity to test and implement software that the entire audit department would be using. We also helped establish a firm standard for presentation and disclosures within financial statements.
Q: What is one thing that you love about your current role?
A: I really enjoy being a senior. It allows me to build relationships with clients and colleagues while still being able to dive into workpapers.
Q: What advice would you give a new employee for being successful at KRD?
A: Mastering Excel will help you advance your career more than you think. It’s such a powerful tool.
Q: What is your favorite social outing with the KRD team?
A: It’s very easy to stay social here even as a remote employee, but I have to say that my favorite social outing is the holiday party. It is great to catch up in person and celebrate together.
