Joanna Brzostowski, CPA, began her journey with KRD in 2021 as an audit manager, quickly ascending to the role of audit director within the organization. With over 20 years in the accounting industry, she specializes in not-for-profit organizations.
Joanna has established a strong reputation as a trusted advisor by providing technical guidance on complex issues through her extensive experience and deep knowledge of U.S. auditing standards and generally accepted accounting principles.
As a director, Joanna is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the engagement, including planning, preparation, and review of audit procedures and financial statements. She also handles the preparation and review of tax returns for tax-exempt organizations.
Joanna is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and AICPA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University. In her free time, Joanna volunteers to coach her son’s soccer team and attends many soccer games on the weekends.
