Detelina Staneva, CPA joined KRD in 2017. Prior to joining Detelina worked for ten years at another mid-size CPA firm.
She is a tax director with over 20 years of experience in doing client accounting work and more than 15 years experience in tax. She works with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses in a variety of industries including distribution, professional services, and real estate. Her area of expertise includes federal and multi-state returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, s-corporations and c-corporations as well as providing tax planning advice related to planned transactions and changes in tax laws.
Detelina graduated from Millikin University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She also holds a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Northern Illinois University and Masters of Business Administration degree from DePaul University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
She resides in New Berlin, Wisconsin with her partner and their daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, watching movies or visiting different restaurants. Detelina speaks Bulgarian.
