Steven Gillette joined KRD in 2010 as Director of the Accounting and Audit Department of KRD. He has a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and has completed the Business Valuation Certificate of Educational Achievement series sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a certified public accountant in the state of Illinois and a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society.

Steve has over 20 years experience in both public and industry accounting. He has experience in a variety of industries including communication companies, real estate entities, professional service organizations, technology companies and software developers, as well as management companies, manufacturers and wholesale distributors. He also has experience performing evaluations of a company’s internal controls and has written articles as well as been a guest speaker at various organizations on the subject

Steve has served as a board member for the Chip in for a Cure golf tournament for the American Cancer Society and is the chairman of the investment committee at St. Philips Episcopal Church in Palatine.
