“Developing and implementing financial plans and investment strategies for clients is a valuable service for a CPA firm,” maintains Scott Coleman, a principal member and co-founder of KRD Financial, LLC. “As CPA’s, we have intimate knowledge of our clients’ tax, personal and financial matters, placing us in a strong position to effectively help with their planning and investment-related needs.”

Scott earned his BA in Financial Management and Computer Information Systems from the University of Northern Iowa, his MBA from the University of Nebraska, and a Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Iowa. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and an Illinois Insurance Producer.

In September, 1998, Scott joined Kutchins, Robbins and Diamond, Ltd. to help the public accounting firm conveniently offer value-added financial services to its existing and rapidly growing client base. In February, 1999 he co-founded KRD Financial, LLC. His professional membership affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, Financial Planning Association, the Illinois Financial Planners Association and American Bar Association. Scott is also a CFP Certification Instructor for Northwestern University’s School of Continuing Education Studies. Scott resides in Schaumburg. When he does have a spare moment, he enjoys running, reading and kayaking.
