Chad Porter, Accounting

Chad joined the KRD team in September 2009. He has been in public accounting for his entire professional career. Chad received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accountancy) from Western Illinois University in 1989. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
 

Chad’s expertise is providing audit and consulting services to clients in the real estate, construction, and manufacturing industries. He also specializes in serving the condominium association industry, providing audit, review, compilation, consulting, and tax services. Chad has substantial experience providing agreed-upon procedures engagements, including forensic procedures. Other industry experience includes nonprofits, governmental and employee benefit plans.

Chad has remained in public accounting for over 20 years primarily because he enjoys building relationships with clients and staff and working as a team to provide quality, timely services. In addition, public accounting offers a variety of high end services to a multitude of clients in diversified industries.

On a personal note, Chad and his wife Judy reside in Lake Villa with their two young daughters. When not spending time with his family, Chad can occasionally be found creating damage on the golf course, while minimizing his cost per stroke.
