Chris Cameron returned to KRD in 1999 after serving as the CFO of a large, privatelyowned real estate management company. He has been in public accounting for over 20 years, working for both local and regional CPA firms. In January, 2002 Chris became a Shareholder of the firm. He oversees the Accounting and Audit Department.

A certified public accountant, Chris earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Loyola University. He is a member of the AICPA, Illinois CPA Society, Institute of Management Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Medical Group Management Association. He also formerly served a dual term as president of the Board of the Rolling Meadows Chamber of Commerce

He has concentrations in manufacturers (especially tool and die shops), real estate (including HUD/IHDA supervised projects), mortgage brokers (including HUD Title II loan correspondents), and non-profit organizations to name a few.

“I really enjoy the interaction with my clients and the analytical and investigative aspects of my audit and consulting work,” he says. “The people who work at KRD are highly motivated and genuinely concerned about the well-being of the firm’s clients. And, I particularly like the relaxed atmosphere in our Office.”

Chris has two sons, Everett and Ellis. He enjoys music, movies and sports, and spending time with his family.
