Customer service, the idea of making a contribution, is Bruce Robbins’ guiding principle. Bruce, a shareholder and co-founder of KRD, utilizes the team concept for helping his clients reach their financial goals. He has a great deal of experience in real estate, manufacturing and lottery partnerships (one of his clients holds the honor of being the single, largest lottery winner in the U.S.).

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa. A member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. He is also a member of the Ethics Committee of the Illinois CPA Society and is the Chairman of its Behavioral Subcommittee. Bruce has worked in public accounting for over 39 years and says, “I still love it.” He adds, “The most challenging part of my job is staying in constant communication with my clients. Personal, prompt service is my utmost priority.”

Bruce not only works hard in his profession, he volunteers his time and effort for the betterment of the community. He has recently been elected a commissioner on the Vernon Hills Park District. He is a Board Member and Trustee for the Deerfield District 109 Education Foundation and is a Board Member and Trustee for Temple BJBE.

His hobbies include local politics and jogging outdoors in the early evening around his home. “When you’re over 60 years old, it’s time to switch from running to jogging,” he says jokingly. Bruce is in great shape, however. He plays tennis several times a week and jogs (or runs) regularly. He and his wife, Sandra, have two sons, a daughter, a granddaughter, and a grandson.
